Bringing Hope Across Borders: SKT Welfare Completes Humanitarian Mission to Jordan
AMMAN, October 2026 – Between September 29 and October 3, SKT Welfare completed a humanitarian mission to Jordan, supporting Palestinians displaced from Gaza, including patients receiving vital medical treatment away from home.
The delegation brought together SKT Welfare humanitarian workers and a visiting group of prominent Pakistani actors, including Jawed Shaikh, Khaled Anam, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Ally Khan and Nabeel Zafar.

Working alongside local teams, the delegation prepared food cartons at SKT Welfare’s warehouse and distributed 500 essential food parcels directly to displaced Palestinian families. The team also visited injured patients in hospitals and at their homes, offering practical support, comfort and a listening ear.
For children from Gaza, the mission included an afternoon of play and a shared hot meal, creating a welcome moment of relief during an otherwise difficult period.
For patients evacuated from Gaza, recovery away from home brings challenges beyond medical treatment. SKT Welfare provides year-round support in Jordan, including accommodation, meals and transport to essential medical appointments.
The mission builds on SKT Welfare’s previous work in Jordan. In 2025, volunteers distributed food parcels and hygiene kits across refugee camps, reaching approximately 76,000 people.

“Humanitarian response means staying connected to people as their circumstances change. For some families that means support inside Gaza. For others it means support in Jordan, where they have come for treatment. This week our team met families directly, heard what they needed and acted on it.”
The Jordan mission forms part of SKT Welfare’s wider international deployment programme, providing food assistance, care and practical support to communities affected by conflict, displacement and poverty.
SKT Welfare also continues to support families inside Gaza, where local teams deliver food, hot meals, clean water, medical assistance, hygiene supplies and emergency shelter. In 2025, these programmes reached more than 350,000 people inside Gaza, including 225,450 people through clean-water delivery.
